		<description>Hi Joanna,

I cannot help but comment on how important it is to live a life that is in alignment with your personal core values, and most importantly to even know what your personal core values are. Most people don’t.

I truly believe that the first step in creating true prosperity is knowing what your personal core values are. Even before defining your goals. This is a more deliberate and focussed approach to goal setting that not only gives you absolute clarity about your future, but lays a firmer foundation for achieving any goal.

The best thing I ever did was to take the time to determine my own personal core values and rank them in order of priority. It was like getting to know myself all over again, and everything I did from that point forward I did with a new understanding, and inner knowing.

Life is much more joyful when you are in touch with WHO YOU ARE. I believe it all starts with knowing what your values are and being true to yourself.

Remember this: “To Thine Own Self Be True, Then It Follows As The Night And The Day That You Shall Be Sinful To No Man.”?

Goals are important, but first KNOW what your values are!

Margaret

<description>Hi Aaron, thanks for calling by - you will be busy if you are trying to comment on everyone&#039;s post! I guess the project took off because you asked a question that got us thinking (coaches love good questions). I suspect that it will keep bouncing round the net for a good while yet, even though you&#039;re no longer capturing the answers. You&#039;ll be able to sit back and watch it grow and evolve once your own bit of the work is done.

		<description>Joanna,

Thanks for participating in the Simply Successful Secrets project and I&#039;m glad you got to get in before the deadline. The response has indeed been wonderful and I think it would have kept going around the Internet for years if I hadn&#039;t put a cap on it! :)

Of all of the great things on your list, I liked your idea of checking in with your values the best. That is such wonderful advice because everything else will flow from that as long as each person is true to who they are. Sound wisdom that I am glad will be shared with many others when all is said and done.

Look for the final post with all of the success secrets to be put up on my blog on May 16th. I&#039;m looking forward to bringing this amazing amount of wisdom all together under one URL!

<description>Hi Emma, it&#039;s good to hear from you again.

I&#039;d love to know what birdsong you enjoy from your window on the world in Italy?

		<description>Hi Joanna

That&#039;s a good list there. Ah, the blackbirds singing. There&#039;s nothing like it. I&#039;ve added my five things over at howtoitaly.typepad.com so I&#039;ll also add a trackback back your list, too.
