Hi Melm

Thanks for the challenge. It is one that I have been thinking about for a while.

I was extremely grateful to the person who nominated me for inclusion on the list (Robyn McMaster) and Priscilla Palmer who has put all the work into pulling this together. And I have highlighted the list and added my own suggestions and nominations.

I don't though share your view that appearing on the list means automatically publishing the list in full. When I highlight links here or on my Confident Writing blog I want it to be to sites that I've visited, followed a while, know are of value. Now I'm sure that there are amazing resources on the list and I'd encourage people to dig in, explore, find what they see is of value to them. But for just now I just don't have time to go and visit them all myself.

Which means at the moment at least I'm not linking out to all the sites on the list.

I hope you understand my thinking - thanks for the challenge to articulate my thoughts.

Best wishes

Joanna

I believe that by just being a part of “Priscilla Palmer’s Personal Development list” suggests that each of us post this list. You like me (Killeris at “Attitude, the Ultimate Power”) are on this list. If you have already posted it, THANK YOU. If you have not posted it, I am officially putting out a challenge that you add additional sites that fit the theme and post the entire list. This is my opinion only. If you disagree I respectfully understand. If you do agree with me this list can be found at: http://mondaymorningpower.blogspot.com/2007/09/personal-development-list-challenge.html

Hi Erin, thanks for the invite. I see appearing on the list is going to generate a fair few writing challenges! However, I'm trying to stick on topic just now and have a gazillion other things I need to write about over at my other site, so I'll decline just now, thanks.

Hi Joanna,

After Priscilla Palmer's self development list Jenny and I have decided to try to help build the self development community. So we are holding a little contest. I would like to invite you, and anyone else interested, to find out more details at jenny-and-erin.com/2007/09/win-a-25-gift-certificate/
